Video: Rescued cow and her newborn calf

Click the link below to read great news of Clover, a pregnant dairy cow who was rescued from slaughter. Clover was taken in at the Sanctuary in December and gave birth to Bramble last Wednesday. Both mother and son are doing well.

Hillside Animal Sanctuary, which has a no breeding policy and rarely has births, is now enjoying its newest arrival - Bramble the calf.

The calf, which is still a little wobbly on his legs, has enchanted staff at the Frettenham-based charity after arriving out of the blue on Wednesday, January 14.

I love Pigs!

These two girls are pot bellied pigs whose owner became too ill to cope with them.

They are big girls! There were a lot of people who couldnt resist buying a pot bellied piglet as a pet, but as you can see they grow and grow and really are not suitable for a suburban household. So many hundreds of these lovely pigs ended up in rescues around the country.

These are living happily with some other friends at West Runton.

And below are some rather glamorous pigs who were having a great time snuffling about in the field.

These Turkeys are in fabulous condition with lovely sleek feathers, rescued from a farm and now able to live out their natural lives in safety and comfort!

A great day out!

Yesterday we went to Hillside Animal Sanctuary at West Runton on the Norfolk coast.

I love it there, not only are there some lovely animals to look at and stroke but there's a great animal friendly cafe too!

These boy calves were going to be destroyed but were rescued just in time and will spend the rest of their natural lives at the sanctuary.
