Is Spring here at last?

It is a beautiful day here today. The sun is shining and the dogs are playing in the garden. Rosie, my little poodle has taken to carrying a pink squeaky toy around with her and just loves to play fetch with it. At least while she has the toy in her mouth she isn't yapping :-)

I found this lovely old wedding picture and thought it would be nice for a spring deco.

Its seems a long time since I've blogged, so I thought a beautiful vintage lady would be nice!

ATC SWAPS

This months artist trading card swap is VINTAGE and the closing date is the 15th September.

Vintage Plaque

I made this little Vintage Plaque from junk shop finds.
It started life as a child's wooden name plaque.
It cost all of 20p in a charity shop!
I rubbed it down and then Gessoed it,
painted it blue and added images to the front.
The back is covered in felt, the sides in vintage
ribbon. I used an old piece of chain as the
hanger and wire to make the bottom loop
which I then covered in vintage
ribbon and added the tassel and beads etc.
