Snow!

The meteorological office finally got it right!
Snow was forecast for this weekend and snow we have!
Its falling quite heavily now so it may settle for a day or two.

Almost Snow !

We woke up to a really heavy frost this morning. It looked almost like snow! Its been cold but amazingly mild really, no snow and little rain. England's weather is not so bad after all :-)

Pansy in the snow

My dear friend Nancy sent me this picture of a pansy bravely growing up through the snow in Rochester, New York.
Its the middle of February and there has been no snow here in Suffolk, the birds are singing in the trees and the shrubs and trees are budding. Its warm enough to sit here with the window open.
