My dear friend Nancy sent me this picture of a pansy bravely growing up through the snow in Rochester, New York.Its the middle of February and there has been no snow here in Suffolk, the birds are singing in the trees and the shrubs and trees are budding. Its warm enough to sit here with the window open.
